Me: You'll have to put a jumper on.
My son: But I don't want to put a jumper on.
Me: Then you'll be cold.
My son: But I don't want to be cold.
Me: Well then you'll have to put a jumper on.
My son: But I don't want to put a jumper on.
I'd say he gets his indecision from me. But then again, maybe he doesn't. I don't know.
Me: You'll have to put a jumper on.
My daughter: Why?
Me: Because it's cold.
My daughter: Why?
Me: Because it's Winter and it's colder in Winter.
My daughter: Why?
Me: Because the Earth's closer to the sun.
My daughter: Why?
Me: Because it spins on a tilted axis.
My daughter: Why?
Me: I don't know. It just does.
My daughter: Oh.
Me: So are you going to put a jumper on then?
My daughter: NO!
I'd say she gets her stubbornness from me. But then again, that can't possibly be right. Because I'm absolutely, DEFINITELY not stubborn. Not me. No way. NEVER!
